harley twin tank leather Bib

A customer had a plastic cover made for his Twin Tank Harley that he wanted covered with leather and a design similar to the design on his motorcycle seat. The motorcycle seat, however, was embossed and did not look handcrafted, so the customer gave me the okay to develop this original design for his Harley.

I created a template based on the contoured plastic cover and proceeded to create this leather bib. It is made of 6-7 ounce Live Oak cowhide leather. The backside is Black Glazed Pigskin to which the bib was Double-loop laced.
